The John Ball Zoo has over 1,100 animals and is located in a 140-acre park . Zoo includes the following exhibits: Jambo Africa, Mokomboso Valley Chimpanzee Exhibit, South American Boardwalk, North American Trek, Treasures of the Tropics Building, Van Andel Living Shores Aquarium, LV Eberhard Adventure World, Sting Ray Lagoon, Australia Trail, and Budgie Aviary. We drive 3 hours past our local zoo to go to this one! Check website for admission as it varies per season.
