This museum has displays showing the history of iron mining in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is on the site of the first iron forge in the Lake superior region. Admission is free. Hours are daily 9:30am-4:30pm mid-April through October and Mon.-Fri. 9:30am-4:30pm Nov. 1-mid-Nov. Fabulous!
