This is hands down, the best science book we have ever used (and I have been home schooling for almost 20 years). Fun and interesting for the student to read and the parents to listen to them read-aloud (if you like), easy experiments with stuff you have in your home, and the teacher (me) learned a lot. It does not make reference to a certain type of religion, just excellent references to our Creator. Only $16.95, best money you will spend on curriculum. Common Sense College Prep
The best thing you can do as a parent and teacher is to instill a joy-filled hard work ethic and common sense that God approves of. Most of the students will be looking for a motherly friend at the college level. Why?
Because most of them did not have a mother who spent time teaching them how to dress with modesty, care for a wound, clean their rooms, wash their clothes, make healthy food choices, avoid people who will draw them to hell, spend money frugally, and so much more. Do as you want them to do and you will be proud.
