Homeschool helps
Blessing in Disguise

Who would have thought that the only choice for school would be home school? We are so blessed that our children will finish their books (or whatever your goal is) this school year. We have plenty to keep our time and minds occupied with our families right under our own roofs. Never a dull moment in the life of a homeschool mom! These days have been abundantly filled with joy because of all I have to do. I have friends and relatives that don't know what to do with their time during this social distancing - I can't even imagine what that must feel like. Even though I have not completed all my projects, and I have piles on laundry and mending to do, I feel blessed, not overwhelmed. God is so great!

Annual planning

It's not uncommon for me to get overwhelmed when I am planning for the next school year. I need to constantly remind myself that everything doesn't have to be accomplished all at once. The year that I'm planning for is only one year of the child's education. The week that I'm planning for is only one week of this year. And if I get a little bit done today, that is enough.
