A Word of Encouragement for the WFH HS Mom

Are you a work-from-home homeschool mom? I hope you find this, and I hope it encourages you!

Your homeschool may look different from the ideal you have in your head, the images you see on social media, or the homeschool life your friends may have. And that's okay!

I know that you may long for more, different, or (to your mind) better. And I know that's hard when it's not your reality right now. But please remember, you are the best mom for the kids you were given, and your efforts will be blessed as you follow the Lord's leading.

It doesn't all have to get done each day. Some days it will, some days it won't. Don't stress about it or burn yourself out trying to do it all. You only need to do what the Father has for you each day. Pray about your day. Consult your husband; find out his priorities for your family. Take his lead instead of putting unnecessary things on your list. And then do what you can each day and let the rest go. Maybe that means a frozen pizza instead of a 3-course meal. Maybe that means the vacuuming gets pushed to the next day.

You aren't alone. Abide in Him - walk minute by minute with Him. Give your whole heart to Him, be in real relationship with Him, and trust Him to lead your day. You can do this in His strength.
