Art & music
Lessons not necessary!

Since my child was small, we have had her taking lessons for
many different things including art, music, sports, etc. It was
always frustrating because she never seemed that interested.
Over the years, we withdrew from the varied lessons and I
decided only to put her in things that she requests. To my
surprise, she was sitting in her room with her piano working
on a song by herself. It sounded rough for a couple of days
but now it sounds wonderful! The same thing is happening
with the guitar! She is playing beautiful music and it did not
cost me a dime. God’s lesson to me is that He can perfect in
her anything she desires.

Bible & Spiritual growth
Most important class

When you are adhering to homeschool guidelines for
whatever state you may reside, there is always the issue of
the required classes. Reading, writing and arithmetic are the
major three. Some may require citizenship and/or variations.
I have found our Bible class to be the most beneficial class
that my child takes. She is settling the Word down in her
spirit and looks at every part of her life from His view and
not the world’s view. This has been such a blessing to me as
I was brought up in public school and had no idea that there
were students who got to learn about God every day and not
just in Sunday School.
