Driver's Ed video by Insurance Institute

There is a free video on-line to use for Driver's Ed (good in any state) called: Young Drivers: The High Risk Years.

This video is excellent and very good quality but not graphic. It was produced by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) contains three examples of real-life tragedy. It explains why crash rates for teen drivers are high and provides guidelines for parents who want to lower the risk for their children.

It targets the role of parents as the primary decision makers in determining when and if their teen progresses from one level of driving freedom to the next.

The stories of the parents who lost their children in accidents is heart wrenching, but this is an excellent video for teens and their parents to watch together and discuss.

Homeschool helps
Keeping your perspective

While academics are important, we must always remember our primary
reason for homeschooling is to train our children in The Lord. Character,
not academics is EVERYTHING. If one has character, academics will
naturally follow.
