OneNote is an excellent help for those students who keep losing
their notebooks or have some trouble with handwriting. It is a
free electronic notebook they can stay organized with while typing
in their work. Share it with mom so she can grade it easily. I
have found it to be a great source for my son who has a learning
disability and has a hard time staying organized and neat.

Thinkwave.com is a free grading program that keeps track and
caluclates grades for you. This is especially helpful if your student
is entering high school and keeping track of grades is more
important!
