(Language Experience for Academic and Practical Skills) LEAPS is an instructional alternative for school-age children with difficulties acquiring language and academic skills primarily due to cognitive challenges. Students have an intervention plan incorporating speech, language, academic, and thinking skills. Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Participation may be full or part time. Children must be able to work independently and in group activities with minimal behavioral challenges. Services may be reimbursable by insurance.
