Learning an instrument like the violin/viola is never an easy process, but it's extremely rewarding. It teaches patience, perseverance, discipline, and so much more. Most importantly, it can provide homeschool students the opportunity to explore the arts, and learn how to collaborate with other like-minded students their own age through music and community.
With a degree in music and a background in classical violin, viola, fiddle, improvisation, and more, I give students the opportunity to explore many styles of music to find the style(s) they love and will enjoy for the rest of their lives.
I believe my job as a music teacher is to understand and teach each student the way they learn best, and to help them understand and embrace the joy of making music!
