Costumed interpreters provide a glimpse into nineteenth century pioneer and Dakota daily life. Local history will come alive through stories, crafts, gardening, animal husbandry, and more.
Bring your homes educated children to see and experience original and replica buildings, including a log-and-sod home, the original Gibbs farmhouse and barn, tipi, Dakota summer bark lodge, and one-room schoolhouse.
Historical tours are led by knowledgeable costumed interpreters during all open weekend days. Pioneer Tours at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Dakota Tours are 11:30am and 1:30pm
